Default Best service manual?

Which is the best manual for restoration and service , wiring, vacuum etc? I've been looking at the blue and white Fairlane, Cougar, Falcon, Mercury, intermediate Mustang manual. Is this the one to have?

Not sure if that's the same type as I have for my '69' but sure sounds like it. Published by Helms, Ford shop manual, came in 5 vols. I use two other books for additional restoration info, one is "Mustang Resoration Guide" covering 64 1/2-70, by Motorbooks International. The other one is "Mustang Restoration Handbook" by HPBooks.

I bought the shop manual for my '67, might not handle enough info. for a full resto but has come in very handy for taking most things apart, torque specs, etc. <$50 at most mustang suppliers, didn't try amazon, etc. I make notes in it like all my ID numbers for car, engine, trans, rear end, brake sizes, etc. I usually refer to it at least weekly for something.

There are few on Ebay right now for $30.00

I like Detroit Iron's CDRom version
