Default 68 C Stripe Placement

Greetings,
I want to put C Stripes on my 68 and wanted to know if Ford wrapped the ends of the stripes into the door jams, or if they cut then just short of the door jams on the flat part of the panel. If they cut them short, how much short?

Tim

wrap it around the corner of the body panels 1/4"

The only gap should be the door gaps not stripe

MIL1ION is correct, the stripe should wrap around a bit. I recently put these stripes on my car - it helps alot to use a hairdryer on the end you want to wrap around until the stripe gets warm and flexible. then it can be bent into the gap more easily.

Just use soapy water........to move the stripe around til you get it set, squeegy it...............use a razor to break the stripe at the fender/door gap& wrap them around the inside of the door& fender. same for the door gap.
