Default 69 mach 1 radiator install

hi, my son just acquired a 69 mach 1 that has been in storage for 12yrs. my mechanical knowledge is limited, but am trying to get it running. it has a clamp style radiator. i pulled the radiator and had it boiled out, etc. i'm trying to reinstall it but can't get the shroud on. i thought maybe i have the lower brackets on wrong, although they look right. do the lower brackets with the rubber inserts mount on the bottom of the radiator, or are they attached to the sides?
would appreciate any help. thanks.

I'll look at my Dad's after work. My memory isn't that good.

Default 69 mach 1 raadiator install

thanks, i.ve really got my work cut out for me. i'm now struggling to syphon, and remove the gas tank, i would like to get the radiator in, although the upper hose i bought seems to be several inches too long, i guess it's ok to cut it.

It's ok to cut the hose. Too much stuff in the garage to check the radiator out.
