Default Manual(s) to Help With 65 Coupe Restoration

I recently purchased someone's partially completed 65 restoration project.

Can you guys recommend a manual or two to assist with putting this thing back together?

I read the reviews on Amazon.com, and there doesn't seem to be a consensus pick. I am not looking to rebuild the engine or tranny, but will probably handle everything else.

Thx, Terry

Get a year specific assembly manual . There are also several book out on Mustang restoration that have good information in them. Plus a look of people on the forum with some real good information .

I have used Chilton and Haynes in the past, but many of the comments on Amazon made it clear that both were going to have lmited use.

Based on our reply, I did a new search and found a series of manuals -

Classic Mustang 1965 Body Asssembly Manual

Is this what you had in mind?

Here is a free online 66 factory manual you can view or download. It is missing a few sections (engine).

I bought the Ford shop manual for my PC and use it often. Best manual of the 3 that I have. Cost 22 dollars and is 775 pages.
