Default Restoring a 66 Mustang. Question about tire size

I am in the early stages of restoring a 1966 mustang coupe with a 289 . I will be performing the shelby drop or upper control arm relocation. How big a front tire can I put on a 15x6 1/2" rim in the front after the drop without clearance issues. i was planning on a 215/65R15 .Thanks for the input.

I have a 66 mustang that had tire problems with an original magnum 500. 14x6. I dont know why but i guess it just had very large backspacing. The upper control arms made a ring in the tire as if it was going to cut it out. What backspacing are your wheels going to be? I dont think the shelby drop does anything significant to your wheel fitment.
