Hi again.
He should be a feisty little guy. His parents are by far the meanest two creatures that I've ever seen. They're cockatiels. When we picked them out at the bird store, the employee asked if we sure about that. He said that they were the meanest birds that he had ever seen. He then warned my husband to be sure and wear big, heavy leather gloves whenever he had to grab one of them. I could see that hubby just sort of blew him off. We got home and he was going to take them out of the transport box and put them in the aviary that he had built. ( Had it built, not he built it.
) He stuck his hand in and grabbed one and was about to release it in there and I heard GOD D@MN!!!!!!! and he turned around holding his hand, which was bleeding like he had lost a finger or something.
The other one he just kind of shook out of the box and stepped away. That was like 12 years ago. We normally rounded up the eggs when they were sleeping or eating or something, but, somehow, they've managed to sneak one by us.
