Default 1965 mustang coupe headers

I have a 1965 mustang coupe with a 302 in it and I would like to know what are my possibilities for adding headers to it. The space looks pretty cramped.

I put tri-y headers on my '65 with a 289. They were a little tough to get in but they fit great.

I purchased a set of tri-y's and had to return them. They would not fit around the bellhousing. I also have a 302 cu. in. in mine. With the store credit, I purchased a set of Hedman Hedders. When I returned the set, I was told some modification may be required with the tri-y's. If it looks cramped, look for a pair of shorty headers. They provide great clearance and are based on the 289 hi-po cast headers.

They should fit, just spend the extra money for the locking header bolts
