Default 1965 Mustang Coupe

While driving down the road yesterday I found a 65 Coupe, straight 6, new paint, no rust, carpet is a little rough but no cracking on the leather, 2000miles on the engine since its been completely rebuilt, and only 101,701 original miles.

The guy that's selling it is 76, and bought it off the showroom floor in 65. It's completely stock, and in GREAT Shape... He only wants $9900 for it. Do I put off my supercharger for my 2005GT or do I buy this classic pony?

I need some opinions here people.

Get the 65. That is a great opportunity, don't let it pass you by.

All depends on how much you want a classic. You may never again find a car being offered by the original owner but the supercharger can always be added. So again, depends on what you really want..

Another thought is that most people that put a supercharger on a GT usually want more HP than a straight 6 is going to deliver. It may be a great car but is it really "you"?
