Default 1970 Mustang Vin number mystery

hello im from panama my dad and i we are rebuilding and 1970 mustang

the chasis have a rare vin number we only know that was assembly in michigan

the vin umber is 0F145832

Are you sure that is the WHOLE vin #? I just tried your vin in the mustang secret decoder and it said that the code wasn't found. Can you give us ALL the information on the door tag? It is on the back of the driver side door, near the door latch.

That VIN you have listed is what the partial VIN would look like on engine blocks of some cars. It is missing the 2 digit body code and the single digit engine code.

I can tell you that your 3rd digit will be a 0 (zero) it's only a place holder, so it would be 0F0xx145832, the first x would be a 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 depending on what the car is, and the second x would be a T, L, F, G, H, M, Q, R or Z depending on what motor the car came with.

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.

aside from missing the body and engine code in the VIN#

It must have been built for south america delivery

What is the DSO code ?
