Default 1967 Mustang-Disc Brake Swap

Hello there,
I just wanted to submit a vote of confidence for Dennis at www.discbrakeswap.com. I recently installed one of his swap2 granada style front disc brake kits on my 67 Coupe with the 200 cid 6. It now stops on a dime! This is a quality kit with excellent customer service and instructions. It is relatively easy to install. There is definitely a night and day difference in the old drums and new discs. I also replaced the drums and shoes in the back before finishing up.

Since the rotors are 11.06, I had to buy new wheels and tires. I went with the 15X7, 4X4.5, Ansen Slot Mags by American racing. Those wheels were available in the late 60's and early 70's. In fact, when mustangs were readied for track racing, they were often fitted with the 15X7 Ansen slot mags, so it looks good on the car.

I called Dennis numerous times before purchasing and after. He always answered the phone and was always courteous and very knowledgeable.

The kit I bought was for the four lug set up so I did not have to modify my rear axles or convert to a V8 rear end. My cost with shipping and handling was $747.

Make sure you get an alignment to new specs when done.

Next project will be power steering.

Thanks,
Lee

I also agree with Trumpetwinds.
I am very happy with my kit from CSRP and Dennis was very helpful with ansering calls and emails before AND after I purchased the swap.
Highly recommend his product and his company.
