1965 Mustang K code-Rear End Tag

I recently bought a 65 K code and the tag on the rear end states the following and I would like to know if it is what might be original to the car:
WCZ-H
350 5AB 971

and the pinion support is C5AW 4668A

Hello.

The WCZ-H is the axle code. This one is for a rear axle assembly that came with a K code, the 3.50 is the axle ratio (3.50:1), which would have a code of 5 on the door tag, 5AB is the date code, which says the second week of january of 65. The 971 is the manufacturer's code, which doesn't really mean anything once the assembly is installed in a car.

Thanks for the informaton. That is very reassuring since my car is a 65 K code with a door tag of 5 on the axle and a build date of 11 January. I think it says that this could be the original rear end.
