Hey guys, will horns from a generator equiped car work on a car with an alternator? I still have the horns from my 1959 Edsel, and I loved the noise/tone they made. I'm just not sure if they would work because of the fact that my Edsel had a generator and my Mustang has an alternator. If not, is there a way I can make them work? Thanks guys.

if the edsel was a 12 volt system they will work without a problem.....

Yes it was a 12 volt. Cool, thanks. I am playing with all the electronics right now while my engine is disassembled. The piston head in cylinder 4 was shot. When I pulled it out I noticed it was cracked, and a couple minutes later it started to fall apart. So i'm going to replace all of the heads.
