Nice work on the conversion Kane822!
You are doing something that many people have thought about doing but have never been able to find a write up from someone who ACTUALLY did it.
So I suggest to you as a service to the Mustang community, Making a Blog with pictures and descriptions of what you are doing, what you learned and how you did it. It would be very helpful to others and I guarantee there will many hits on it from people following it. Keep a running weekly update with new pictures and info. It will also be valuable for the car as a history report and it will live forever or until Google goes out of business...
It is easy to set up and FREE. Then you can make the link available on this site and searchable from Google.
Here is the link to sign up https://www.google.com/accounts/NewA...CE_ONLY&naui=8

I have a small website for The 66 and it has had 23,000 visits. I am sure yours will be much more interesting and popular!

Thinkaboutit...

1965 Mustang Coupe to Fastback Conversion

EXCELLENT JOB on the blog page!
Be sure to make the blog searchable by google or yahoo search engines and you will be surprised by the number of people who will visit.

Go here and create a hit counter for how many people visit and embed the code they give you on the page
Free Web Counters + Free Hit Counter at Amazing Counters

I wish blogs were available when I built my page. I am limited to 20Megs in pictures but you get 1 GIG of storage on yours!

Again nice job on the car and the website!

Good Luck and BE Safe

I was wondering about making it search able on google and what not, I could not find it one day when I was searching for it on google. I have never used a blog before so if anyone is familiar with it let me know. Is there just some option that I have to check? Also it is posting in reverse order and I have not figure out how to chang it. not a big deal but I would like it if the intro was the first thing you read.

You can tag each section with key words and then add sub sections on the right.

This Mustang blogger has one of the best I have seen. He has the same user name as me but it is not me. His site will give you ideas on formatting. Restoration and Modification of a 1966 Mustang Restomod

I have only read you can make the blogs searchable. Good news is this forum post shows up in google searches now!

Thanks for the help! I like the Idea of a doing a blog especially if it can help others out. I am going to look into maybe using a different blog site though because I am having trouble with formatting on that site and my mac book pro has some cool bloging software with it.

on a side note. I just bought a new Lincoln 180 mig welder this week so hopefully I can start getting to work on replacing the floor and finishing the welds on the roof before I have to go back to school for my final two semester . Actually I am working on a pilots license too so I don't know how much time I will be putting into the car onces that starts in the fall. Who knows... but check out the blog I will be posting more there soon. Right now I'm working on making a custom front bumper out of fiberglass. I will go through the whole process of forming a plug out foam and then making the mold for the fibergalss and what not. I hope I'm not getting over my head ... well too late.

But for sure I will keep writing about the conversion on the blog there is still a lot I need to add to it. Which is crazy it took a weekend to do but what seems like forever to write about.

Anyways thanks again for the help!
