Default Used Edelbrock Carb Prices

Does anyone know what a good price to sell an Edelbrock Performer 600cfm Elec Choke Carb would be? Carb is only about 4 years old an has maybe 4 or 5 thousand miles on it. IM looking to go down to a 500 cfm and was just wonder what a good price to sell this one would be. Thanks.

Just wondering, but why are you wanting to go smaller? I am aware that larger carbs are not always better and can decrease torque, but i feel like it just wouldn't be worth the effort. A 600cfm edelbrock is a good carb for street driving, especially on a 289 or a 302. And 500cfm edelbrocks are typically more $

Well thats just it, torque. Just like ole Shelby himself once said, "horsepower sells cars, but torque wins races".

So if i have a pretty much bone stock 289 and throw a 600cfm carb on there, its just way too much fuel. I mean i have this thing professionally dialed in a tuned for my car and still it acts like it floods out when i stomp on the gas from a dea stop then start sto take off. The throttle response is good but could be better. I mean the A-code 289s had 470 or 480cfm 4brl carbs, NOT 600cfm. I just dont have enough motor for this carb. I never did the research, just the typical "bigger is better" mentality which doesnt work that great in this case. I plan on adding a MILD cam way down the road, but not where im gonna need 600cfm of carb. I mean if there was a wayto rejet it down to 500cfm ide just do that. If it were possible. I just dont know.
