Default 1966 battery tray question

Hey guys. The other day I bought a new battery tray and now I have a problem. It is a reproduction from Mustangs Unlimited and it has the 67 style battery hold downs. Well I decided to test fit it before I redo my engine compartment, but when I put it in none of the holes lined up with the original bolt holes. Has anybody else had this problem and if so what did you do? I really appreciate anybodies help. Thanks, Michael.

LOL the other day I put one of these in my 65, it is a 65-66 modified tray to use 67 top hold down? Mine was made by dynacorn. I did a test fit and it looked like it was not going to fit, the bottom peice was at the wrong angle and possible welded on a little crooked. After some bending and tweaking of the bottom part i got it in. I got the two bottom bolts in easily and from there I pulled up and out on it and bent it enough to get the carriage bolt and the other bolt in. I used large stainless fender washers underneath these two bolts for added support.

Yes, it's the 66 tray with the 67 hold down. I'll try that to see if it works.
