Default Stripes and Not sure

I was curious were to find certain names of stripes that were done on classic mustangs, like the duel racing stripes are they lemans and such?

I am thinking about getting my 66 with the thicker stripe down the middle with pin striping or smaller stipes on either side of the main stripe. Does anyone know the name as well as the dimensions?

Thank you

if im correct that style of striping came on the super snakes? not completely sure though. and as far as the rhino lining, ive heard multiple things. i wanted to put it on my enging compartment, but heard that it could over heat the engine. if just on the hood though, im sure it would be fine.

There is really no hard and fast rule on racing stripes, just what looks good. Stripes were first put on the cars to give the drivers a visual center point of the car while racing, and became more of a styling cue like war paint later on. The stripe you are talking about is like the one that comes on the super snake but I don't know of that stripe ever being offered by the factory. When I was laying out the stripes on my old Berkley GT I tried a few different styles I just did them in paper and masking tape on the hood until I got the look I wanted then I just copied down the measurements and had them cut the vinyl.
