Default New member looking for his old 1966 Mustang
Sioux City, IA Area Folks:

Hi! I'm kindly requesting your help to track my old burgundy 1966 Mustang Coupe. This baby had 240,000k+ when I sold it in 1996 in Omaha, Nebraska.

All that I know for now is that it has 2 previous IA owners. One of them changed the color of my x Mustang to black.

I'm putting a photo album together of the history of this pony that I bought in Florida in May-1974. I'd like to get in touch with either of the owners to compare some notes and pictures. Vin # & others details via PM. Photo Las Vegas, NV 1982.

Since you have the complete VIN that is a definite plus but these days with the privacy laws it isn't easy to track/get info on vehicle owners. This would be much easier 10-15 years ago.

The best thing to do is start at the person you sold the car to and work from there. Even if you have a partial name Google is your friend.

If Nebraska and Iowa are title states you can try doing a title search too.

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.
