Default My Bad Luck With Dents

Ever since i got my 1966 coupe i have been getting bad luck with dents, especially lately. I have about 4 door dings just on my right door, one being the size of a baseball. Took off 2 square inches of paint. Today i had the joy of a weed whacker fall 8 feet off a shelf in my garage. Guess where it hit.. MY HOOD. Now i got a big @$$ dent on a brand new hood. It bothers me how a weed whacker could just fall off a good wide shelf, especially since its been on there for the past week. Looks like someone went to town with a hammer on my car. Life is so grand, especially when you have luck like me. I actually wanted to get a custom lisence plate that said BAD KARMA at one point..

Do we get to see pictures? On a model forum I am a member of we go by TOS #10 (terms of service), "To prove that something happened, we must have photographic evidence". Thats why I tell my parents I won't finish the body work and have it repainted yet. No one wants to steal a beat up bondo-ed 1966 Mustang, especially a straight six. Plus, my paint is so scratched up it isn't funny. Right now my car is 4 shades of white.

But on the brighter side, at least your dents can be removed. I have to get a new hood still. When I got my car I didn't realize that the driver side motor mount was broken. So every time I would back out of my driveway (which is sloped and long) Oliver would jerk, and sputter, and eventually stall out. Then one time when it happened, these dents appeared in my hood. So my brother and I tested to see what was wrong. With my left foot on the brake pedal and the hood open, I pressed on the gas in reverse only to see my engine roll over towards the passenger side. It sliced the upper radiator hose open. I replaced the mounts, but I have these gouges in the bottom of my hood from my air cleaner hold down wing bolt.
