Just bought a 1966 mustang and am starting to rebuild the car. New at restoration so I hope to post questions and get answers.

My first question is how to remove the chrome rail on the car.

The round end of a old school bottle opener works. Put some tape on the inside of the opener and slowly work the strip off just like you are opening a bottle of beer.
