Default 302 Enblem for hood scoop

Does anyone know where i can get a 302 emblem for a 1969 mustang? I have a 1969 coupe with the boss hood scoop, and i wanted to add the 302 emblem on the side of it. The only ones i've seen are for 351 and 428.

Autobadges.com has a retro looking 302 badge, much like the ones you showed, AutoBadges.com : Our Products : Emblems

My friend has done that. He got them through NPD (National Parts Depot). They are black & chrome like the originals and he stuck them on the side of the hood scoop.

I think it does. Like I said, my friend did it on his 69 coupe and it looked good.

I put them on my car. I ordered mine from Virginia Classic Mustang. I opted for the slightly more expensive metal ones that bolt on. If you have an original scoop then the mounting holes should already be there.

My first attempt was with an aftermarket Mach 1 scoop, big mistake. The fiberglass was weak and the scoop cracked over the rear two mounting posts and the points of the scoop in the front didn't sit flush on the hood. I trashed those and found an original scoop with the functional turnsignals. Much better, the scoop fit the contour of the hood perfectly and is much heavier than the aftermarket.

Not all the scoops got the emblems though, so he might have to drill the holes or get the stick on ones.
