Default Anyone know of an 8 Track Adapter

Hello to the family,
The old Mach 1 is running and we're having a blast.
The problem is it has an 8-track that works great.
I am sure we will get tired of the 8-tracks we still have.

Does anyone know of an adapter that will insert into the 8-track and allow us to play from an i-pod or mp3 player?

I know they had them for cassettes but anyone ever hear of 8-track adapter?

For now - - 8 tracks all the way but I would like to be able to play a bit more current
stuff. 3years ago I threw out my 8 track writer - bummer.

Thanks.......... Print Dad

I may have an old 8 track to cassette that you could then adapt from cassette to disc and then to mp3. You should only need to remove your rear seat back to give all the adapters room. If your interested in the 8 track convertor, I will see if I still have it, let me know.

Buy a din size bezel then buy a din size radio that will work with a mp3 player is the best way and cheapest too.

I would look for a AM transmitter so that the iPod would work, you would just have to tune to a certain AM frequency.

Hopefully a 1969 convertible or Sportsroof (non Mach or Boss) for next Mustang project

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.

Adapters and rear seat removal? Thank God I got a fold down. LOL

Well I am not sure what all the other stuff means but I don't really want to
pull the radio yet. She needs tires, exhaust first so for now...8-tracks all the way.

Thanks I don't really know what an Am transmitter means/is. The radio does have AM/FM.

Does this help me? Print Dad

Try crutchfield. They usually carry everything.
