This is a floor console for a 67-68 mustang But its padded unlike the ones ive seen.....i was wondering if there is suppost to be a housing that this console goes on? I dont suppose it just lays on the floor?...and where does the convience light go?...thanks.

That is a 68 console and what convienence light are you asking about, 1 in the rear under ashtray,1 behind the roll up door and 4 in the face of the frame of the roll up door(optional only)

That is the deluxe pad for 67 and 68 Mustangs with the floor console. It goes on over the standard console IIRC.
