Default 1968 Mustang Tranny Help

Hey guys, i recently had my wifes 68 mustang restored... just got it back today matter of back... rebuilt the motor, serviced the tranny, installed a rear end out of a 1983 mustang GT, painted ,and all upholstery completed. Problem being i drove the car home from the shop today and it drove and ran great... got home and was backing in the drive when my wife screams..."Its leaking...its leaking" i cut the car off to find it pouring tranny fluid everywhere, also there was a lil water coming from the radiator as well.

The radiator is brand new, so shouldn't have a problem there. The tranny appears to be in tact with no lose connections. I cant tell where the fluid came from , but i did notice that the fill tube for the tranny was soaked all the way to the top of the fill tube. Giving me the impression it was blowing fluid out the fill tube.

What would cause that?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you overfill the transmission?

Usually there are a few causes for it to come out of the filler tube.
1. To much fluid in tranny
2. Breather vent clogged
3. Clogged tranny filter or screen
4. internal fluid leakage

Well i'm not sure if the restoration shop overfilled or what, they went through the tranny and put a new filter in it.. I'm wondering if it was overfilled as well, thats my guess. But i'm not sure, thanks for your responses... the restoration shop owner is on his way over here now...hopefully we can get it rolling ..
