Question 1966 Coupe value

Hi to all! First time posting here and wondering if anyone here may be able to give their opinions on what my car may be worth.
I have a 1966 mustang coupe 289 2bbl automatic, had the car since I've been in high school and I full restored the car when i first purchased it. Well through the years of it sitting in my garage, it was time to start fixing all the problems that was caused from it sitting. So I tore the entire drivetrain out, rebuilt the engine and trans., sent the drive shaft out for a clean up and balance and new u-joints, and resealed and installed all new brakes in the rear end. The body of the car is really a 9 out of 10, as all the panels on the car are original, and the car has had small steel patches carefully welded in where minor rust had started. The only un-original panels on the car are the front and rear valance, and the drivers side inner fender apron. The cars crome and stainless steel are all in good condition, but due to some minor scratches "everywhere" the car really could use paint. The interior is in good condition, but after looking the car over, it could use carpet and a dash pad. All the floor pans have been replaced and the car has a set of Global West tubular subframe connectors. The entire front suspension has been rebuilt and upgraded to polyurathene bushings. And there's probably a thousand things I may be forgetting. Basically, I'm looking for an average price on an uncompleted project 1966 mustang coupe. I hate to get rid of it, but now that my second kid is here, I really don't have the time to dedicate to do this project right. I dont want to give it away, but I dont want to seem unreasonable either. Thanks to all that respond.

The market for coupes is really soft. An average price would be in the neighborhood of $12k - $13k, just based on what I've seen out there.

Any ideas what I may be able to sell it for as an uncompleted project?

look at the competition around in your area then make a price you would feel comfortable to sell as and see what it does on the market. Worst thing that can happen is that you dont get a phone call.

I think for an uncompleted project as long as the car is complete, $6 - $7k.

The only thing that is missing is the gauge cluster, which if need be, i guess i could buy one off ebay.

I still think you're in the $6k - $7k range. You have to take into account the current market for coupes. A friend of mine picked up a real nice '66 for $13 and the owner had nearly $20 in it. Take into account the car needs a paint job, that's $3k - $5k, and the interior needs to be done, and I'm sure there is some mechanical work to be done as well, after that is all said and done the person that buys it should be right around the market value. I think looking through Hemmings.com, Auto Trader Classics, and eBay will give you a really good idea of the current market.
