Question How do I find the History of my 1965 Mustang coupe?

Hi all, New member here.
Just purchased a 1965 coupe, my wife and I are going to restore it.
Was curious to know how if at all I could find out the history of the car.
All I know is the DSO code states it was shipped to Buffalo NY.

Thats about all you will get, Ford did not keep the records for 65-66 Mustangs. Best of Luck.

You best bet is to start with who you bought the car from and find out who they bought it from and so on, basically track it backwards going through owners.

Hopefully a 1969 convertible or Sportsroof (non Mach or Boss) for next Mustang project

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.

There are no Marti Reports for 65-66 Mastangs. As stated in a previous post, Ford did not keep any records for these Mustangs. Best bet, again as stated in a previous post is to talk to the party from whom you purchased your car. Also look for repair/parts receipts that came with the car, they may be a source of previous ownership. Is your Mustang a "K" code car? If so, go to www.hipomustang.com. This is an Internet site for "K" code Mustangs. Hope this helps. Good luck!!!
