 Kudos to Modern Driveline
At the urging of a member of this site, I sent a message to Modern Driveline about a week ago asking for help with a specific speedometer cable application. After a couple of days with no answer, I dismissed it and sort of forgot about it. Tuesday night, as I was bombing down Dunning Road in my Mach, my phone rang and it was Modern Driveline calling me from Idaho (I live in Canada). The fellow (I forget his name) asked me if I had resolved the question and gave me some free technical advice. After about 15 minutes on the phone, I ordered a $22 speedometer cable from them. I was floored by the fact that this guy would take the time to call me to help me out when all he could realistically expect out of it was a $22 sale. That's above and beyond and I just wanted to let people know.
