Someone must have added that. The hood scoop could have been ordered on any engined car in 69 but only the 351 and higher motored had an emblem on them. The 302 and 6 cyl (200/250) cars had a plain scoop. The cobra jet cars also had the "Cobra Jet" insignia on it.
The Mustang suppliers do sell "302" emblems you can put on there, although not original.
