Default Considering winter project a 1965 Mustang

A neighbor has a 65 Mustang convertible, 289 auto, which has been in his barn for over 25 years. Body seems Ok, interior has been exposed to the elements and is trashed along with the top. Not sure about the amount of rust underneath. He said it ran when it was parked, but nothing was done to prepare it for storage. I have 2 questions; what would be a fair price for the car? Who are the best suppliers of body parts; interior parts, and mechanical parts? Thanks, Phil

Mustangsunlimited is the best place for me. But you can look at craigslist and ebay. I would start out at about a $1000.00 and haggle or barder with him. Look at ebay for an idea.

Hard to say what it is worth without any details. VIN, Options, Condition, etc...But it is worth saving!

like said, if you can get it for 1000.00 in whatever condition, its worth fixing, in canada i use " the mustang shop" for my 65 coupe, most parts are relitively cheap everywhere
