Default Can anyone help??

Hi there,

My great Uncle 'Frank Theyleg' who passed away back in 1997 was involved in some aspect of the original development of the Mustang Mk 1 alongside Roy Lunn and I was hoping to create a Wikipedia page about this and other aspects of his life but despite searching the interweb for more information it's not bringing much up, so I thought I'd ask on a Mustang forum if anyone could provide me with any details of Franks involvement in the project or possibly with some way of contacting Roy Lunn to ask him directly?

If it's any help then this link shows that the gearbox designed for the Mustang was patented by Roy and my great uncle - Synchronized multiple speed power transmission mechanism - Patent 3115047 - and this Italian website credits Roy and Frank as developing the car - Concept Cars - Ford Mustang I - but that's about all the information I've been able to find online about his involvement.

Thanks in advance!!

Go direct to the source:

US Patent Full-Text Database Boolean Search

Put in the patent number and you can read the entire 11 pages.

Other than that, I know nothing about the transmission described or the inventors. The patent was assigned to the Ford Motor Company.
