Welcome, I am fairly new here as well. Great find - a 69/70 is a favorite of mine. My quest started a year ago with a 67...

Yessssss, another '70 owner in the house. I have a 1970 Coupe and a bunch of people working on the car unanimously named the project the "Blue 302" and its almost done, it's been quite the expensive DIY rollercoaster thats forsure. Personally, the 1970 was my favorite Mustang year for many many reasons and I just had to get one. Coupes can be just as bad ass, just ask the Chevy owners that just got smoked by one and are crying on the side of the road. I've realized how much support I got from the people in this forum and I cant thank them enough. You're definitely in the right hands here.

Thanks everyone for welcoming me to the forum here! I am very happy to have gotten the '70 mustang! I have wanted an old mustang between the years of '64 -'70 and it turned out to be a '70! The car is in fairly decent shape with some very minor, minor rust on it. The interior has been completely redone. The engine and tranny have been rebuilt too. Everyone that has seen it says it was a great find and a very good deal for what we paid for it!!! It's great to meet all of you! I will be posting pics of it soon. It isn't too pretty right now but its a "work in progress"! lol

You did real well with that car, I saw the pics on FB. Looks to be real solid car to begin with.

Hopefully a 1969 convertible or Sportsroof (non Mach or Boss) for next Mustang project

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.

Congrats! I have a '70 convertible. One bit of advice, always keep your eye open for '70 ignition switches. No one makes them, so the only way to get them is off of other cars. You may find them at swap meets and sometimes online. If you ever run accross one you should pick it up. This way if your's ever fails, and it probably will over time, you already have one to replace it.
