Excellent choice and a super sweet deal on the intake

Pig, Swap meet in Columbus is the saturday and sunday of the thanksgiving week end. You have to go.
Dude, When i converted my 66 to disk brakes last Fall, everything I took off my car was exactly what you needed. I dumped it for $50 just to get it out of my way..............Sorrrrry !
About the only thing i have left for a 66 is a brand new speedo cable.
Are you going with a C4 tranny or a toploader. I have both if you need one. C4 is a 73-74 era. Toploader I just have rebuilt.

Yeah guys I am going to go with a C4 with a reverse valve body, so that I can shift it like a manual but without the clutch pedal and rpm lag that happens when you shift in a manual.
As far as the color I am thinking of the dark blue in the Keystone Light label. I know this sounds dumb, but in a lot of the rebuid pictures I have on facebook, there is Keystone bottles in every single picture. Its the Royal bluish color, I was doing the hood and grill pieces flat black but am going to do them normal gloss black now.
I dont do all of the work my self but I help my buddy with stuff while he is doing it. He's like 21, and pretty good at his stuff.

Hello guys, I will add some more pictures tomorrow, but here is a small update.
Over the past week I sent off the hood, headlight buckets, and lover grille pieces to have done flat black, I DID NOT LIKE IT, so we decided Wednesday night to scuff them down and go with 2 coats of regular clear. These shits look like glass, I could do my hair in them if I had any. I will get these back this weekend.
I got the cam eccentric crap figured out, and finally got that mounted along with a little thread lock on the ARP cam sprocket bolt and torque down to 35ft lb. Along with this I got the timing cover on and gasketed, and today just purchased my Edelbrock fuel pump that will be installed tomorrow with pics.
Thanks and have a titillating day!
