Default 1970 Mustang Mach1 rocker molding price?

Hi. I have a 69 Mach 1 that I talked about before. A previous owner put the 70 mach 1 rocker molding on this car and I was wondering what the molding might be worth. I don't have pictures but it is in decent shape. It also has aftermarket louvers which I will replace (the original bolt holes are still there in the roof and below window). I know that without pictures it is a shot in the dark but I was just wondering what these might be worth. Thanks.

Default Thanks

I may try that. I figure any money I could get back would help to go back into the car.

Ebay would be your best choice with widest audience. The 70 rocker molding isn't reproduced so if it's in good shape it should do well.

Smile The 70 mach1 rocker molding is removed.

I finally had some time to work on my 69 mach1 this weekend. I removed the 70 mach1 rocker molding someone had put on the car. I'm hoping they didn't mess up the value of them to much because some of the holes don't look original. There are 8 peices (4x2) and the long ones under the doors looked like they may have had factory holes along the bottom but it was the 2 shorter ones on each side that looked like someone drilled a couple holes to bolt them on. The chrome should clean up well but the black paint needs redone but they don't look beat up. I'm sure they won't meet show quality cleaned up but they should work well for someone. If black headed screws were used, it would take a close look to notice. Now that they are off, I can see the couple rust holes they were hiding on the left fender and door. The right side looks like it should be ok but time will tell when the sanding start.

Hi rick mach 1,I would agree Ebay would be a good place to start, however I would be interested in them,(depending on price of course)I would be happy with "driver" quality parts as I'm not going for a concours restoration.
I'll be honest though,I wouldnt be able to do the $600-800+ price I have seen them on ebay.
P.M.me if you want, pics would be good too.
