Technically we're both right. The law that stated all cars must have a dash vin was passed in 67 but it applied to 68 model year cars which were actually released in the second half of 67....so, yeah.

as I was taking the inside apart am finding alot of 1971 dates!
The cougar dash wire harness was too different for me.
