Default New toy/project 1966 !!!

Even though it's a monday, the day ended kinda sweet. In addition to the '66 coupe that is in my garage getting redone I now have another '66 that needs to be cleaned up and polished up. It's a '66 coupe with a '68 302 bored out .30 over, with a 4spd hurst on the floor. Was getting too dark to go over it more tonight, but I hope to get out to it tomorrow and hope that rain will hold off!!!

Had a chance to get into this new project this weekend and it seems that the 66 coupe had a 69 stang as a donor car. The engine, dash, front seats and clutch assembly are out of the '69....the 4 spd tranny with hurst shifter is racing stock. According to the vin, the '66 coupe started life with a 200 6cyl, automatic. Has anyone done interior seat swaps with new stangs? I'm trying to put together some ideas to get the interior setup with some more modern items and comforts. Engine, going to keep the 302 but upgrade the electrical and such.

I would think that a 302 swap with the 86 should work. I've read where they have done that before, but you will need to transfer all the harness, electronics, ecu, etc from the 86!
