Default 1968 Fuel Filter Fail

Well I learned my lesson the hard way: the fuel filter doesn't actually tighten down all the way. I'll be picking up a set of easyouts tomorrow, as well as a second new filter... No shortage of learning experiences with this project!

Yeah, I didn't tighten mine enough, and I started smelling fuel. I quickly turned it off and tightened down some more. This sounds stupid, but you can always check a Chilton book for the right torque specs for it. I found that my library has acsess to chilton on line so I can check it from my house with my library card. It's awesome! Try it.
