1965 Mustang coupe restoration?

I'm new to this site. i am 17 and i have a 1965 coupe that i talked my dad out of. I am in the process of restoring it but i was curious. My plan was to strip it and get rid of and prevent rust on the frame. Is this the right way to start?

It shows a full resto from start to finish and it's free! Don't reinvent the wheel just copy the process. Hope this helps. Hatman
