Default Help Identify my 1964 1/2 Mustang

I am specifically interested in knowing if my 64 1/2 convert. has original panels/doors/trunk/hood, as the previous owner thought it has. Where do I look for markings or stamps and what exactly am I looking for? I have found a couple of 4 digit numbers, but not sure if all panels should have one and if they all should be the same.

Any way to tell if the rest of the car is original? It has very low mileage and was apparently in great shape when it was restored in the mid-80's. I was told that the eng/trans, carb, distributer, generator, most of the interior, are original. Any way to prove for sure?

The passenger seat is adjustable. Did some 64 1/2's get this option? (she came off the line in July 64).

If anyone can help...thanks,
Joe
