I have a 1970 mustang fastback im considering selling. It is a 302 car and is missing the engine and tranny. It is mostly a rust free car but the floor is soft in some areas. Car is mostly complete and is a roller in primer. Body in good shape needing minor only work. 8 inch rear, front disc, non ac. Give me some ideas of what you think its worth.
Your car is only worth what some one will pay for it you need to look at your local craigslist and get a feel for what the cars are going for in your area

LOL, the question was what do YOU think its worth, thanks.
based on wha i've seen them going on for around here and based on what you said is going on with it i'd say anywhere from 3000-4500. but again it really just depends on what it really needs to be a complete car

I just bought that same car 70 302, disc, power steering, power brakes, but it came with a 5.0 EIF and AOD for $1,500 bucks about 6 months ago... if it needs everything I would doubt you would get above $3k for it.

CalponycarsMike, will you go with me to buy my next Mustang? You really come up with some great deals!

Guys try to stay focused. This car has no rust, no major dents and is a 1970 factory mustang fastback. I'm not buying someone saying that they bought a 70 fastback for 1500 unless it had some kind of issues (no vin, no title, rust, wrecked, whatever).
It's hard to stay focused, if you don't post photos of the car, so we can give you our opinion of it's value.

Sorry if you think I'm killing this thread. I was responding thinking your request for photos was for the thread starter and not to get an idea of the condition/value on Calponycarsmike's '70, that he bought for $1500. It's interesting to me that you "required" a photo from him.
It only makes sense to me that photos are a better way of judging the value of a car than just a description. You know what they say: "One mans creampuff, is another mans junker" or something like that.

Well you can certainly list it on Ebay and let the "true market" value be found...
