Default Outer Wheel Housing and Rear Quarter Welding

Ok now I'm about ready to weld the outer wheel housing, but I read that you should wait untill you weld the rear quarter also. This may let you have more play to work the quarter if you also fit/adjust the outer wheel housing at the same time. Has anyone done it either way?

Thanks, Greg 66 fastback A-code

you dont need any play when doing the quarter assuming the well was positioned correctly when done.
