I have spent the last few years searching for parts to my 1969 fastback and many times people on this site seem to have the answers.

I didn't have a headlight switch set up come with my car so I purchased a switch and the bezel from a company not knowing I needed the retaining nut to hold the switch to the bezel. I have looked at many companies and it seems this part is not being manufactored. E bay dosn't seem to have the part either. Maybe I am missing something but has anyone found a solution to this problem

Closest I can find is for a 1968 http://johnsmustang.com/Catalog/4722/

I'm wondering if a 68 would fit. Have you tried Mustang junkyards? Here a couple:
