Hi there,

Im looking to get a set of hood pins for my mustang (pref the pin & cable) but I need a high quality set that wont rust. Ive read up a few forums that all say the ford racing 1's rusting. I live in Ireland were it rains most of the year so i would like to do them right 1st time.
Any advise or suggestions really welcomed

They are all made in the same place and just come in differnt packaging. I have used countless brands over the years and they all start to rust after time.

I bought a set of reasonably priced hood pins that are stainless steel. The brand name is Spectre Industries. Summit Racing also has a set in S/S in their catalog. They ship overseas. The part number for their set is SUM-G3870SS. Their web catalog can be found at www.summitracing.com The price listed is $10.95 per set.

I live in Florida where it's also damp climate. I had to use a stainless set.

Just wasn't sure if there was an ultra durable set out there. Think I'll go with the stainless set.
