Scott,
Although not a K-code

, a much nicer looking car than the last one you asked about. I owned an Emberglo Galaxie and these pictures don't really show the color well. It highly metallic.
The A code only means 4-barrel 289, not HiPo which is a 'K'. It also says nothing about GT except that a GT had to have been either an A or a K. I agree with Mike though that the fender pin letters are too close together making the gaps to the stripes too big. The GT badges are also a few inches too high. Maybe its a new fender or maybe they used the stick-on letters? The GT grilles were also all black. Could be a new grille? Maybe it wasn't a real GT? A true GT would have 3/4" open grommets through the radiator support for the fog light wires just below and slightly inside of each horn wire. The picture is rather dark in that area but I don't see those grommets.
The rear seat reinforcing plate for exhaust mounting is welded to the inside of the sheet metal so it is only visible under the rear seat and whatever insulation you find there. That also only meant dual exhaust, not GT, but without it the car could not have been a factory GT.
There a few details here and there could have been better but overall a nice looking car. Like WHY did they paint both the door latch and its bolts body color?? Nice shiny (I would say repro) door tag but why did they put it over a big blob in the finish around the latch bolt? I don't think a '66 coil was ever located on that side of the engine; you can always move the coil though. Since I have the same problem I can't help but point out the re-plating electrode marks (yellowish blob) around both lower bolts in the rear bumper. I will have mine replated someday to remove that unsightliness. But for the right price I wouldn't turn it down.
