Default 1971-1973 fenders questions/1967 gta price

Good evening, I went to see some old mustangs today looking for some parts and some showed me something that I had not see before. Look at the pictures below and you will see how the signal lights/side lights are not in the same position, Would anybody tell me the why that is. I am just trying to find out if I have the correct fenders. Also when I was there I saw this 1967 GTA which if I did buy, I would have to do a total restoration. What is a 1967 GTA worth?
Thanks

What is the question about the fenders? They all appear to be 73 fenders judging by the bulky 73 bumpers.

the first one is different than the other 2. It has a plastic insert.
I was just wondering if that was a diferent year or what was the reason for the insert

They should all have the insert. It is there to close the gap. Both my 72 and 73 both had them. The 73 fender is shaped a little differentlly to accomodate the the larger bumper. They also take different fillers. FYI the 73 bumper easily weighs 100lbs more than the 71-2 rubber bumper. the rear 1/4s also have a filler on them that the 71-2's do not have. The bumper in th eback was moved farther away from the body because of the crash standards implemented in 73.

Sorry I went off topic a little on you. I just did all this research a couple of months ago when I noticed differences between my 72 parts car and my 73.

2 of the pictures i showed above dont have the filler. Somebody else also told me that the mach1 (1971) did not have the filler only the boss 351 with the chrome bumper.
Again, I just want to make sure i have the right ones for my car.
Thank you

I just did some image searches and it appears you are correct. None of 71-2 rubber bumpers have that filler. It looks like those bumpers sit closer to the body.

Thanks Andrew, that takes care of the questions about the fenders. Now do you know what would be a good buying price for that 67 GTA??
