Ohhhh, I'm jeleous. I've always wanted the halo headlamps. I have a set of plug and play xenon lights. I think your lights look great.

Shoving a hid bulb in a h4 housing is illegal will get you a ticket and you'll blind other drivers.

Ohh, thanks.

andrewmp6-If it's illegal than why do they make a "legal in all 50 states" kit? Yeah their bright, but I have found that because classic Mustangs sit so low compared to other cars, they really don't affect people too badly unless your one of the idiots who drives with their high beams on.

One thing you need to do is use a relay and fuse if you upgraded to H4 and higher wattage bulbs , The stock harness in most of our cars runs all the headlight current through that teeny-tiny headlamp switch, which often comes from the factory with 18 gauge leads with the newer lights you'll be getting a lot of voltage drop. Not to mention that the headlamp circuit is typically unfused - a ground fault/short here will cause serious harness damage. (If your switch isn't the weak point, someplace else will be!
here is a nice write up on a upgrade
and i found this relay kit that would be perfect!

Most of those kits are nothing more then a 9005 bulb but call it a hid. With out a projector lens on a true hid you will blind people and never get the full effect of the lights.I have led tail lights in my 68 i have had them 2 years a month ago i get pulled over for having a license plate light out.The cop tired to give me a ticket for my tail lights because they are a upgrade and the lens don't say they are dot approved. Here if your car didn't come with blue head lights stock it will get you a ticket. But the cops only pick on the import kids here tho.

Ohh, see I think my lenses do say DOT approved on them. That or it's stamped on the back.
