Talking #150! lol 69' Coupe under constuction...

I have a 69 coupe that is under completion. I getting ready to rebuild and drop in a '78 351W with a wiend stealth intake and holly carb, crane cam, dual exhaust, hedman headers. Car currently has traction bars, new suspension, two new rear quarter panels, a P frame( can shut the hood with a pinky if ya want), all new interior. Things im getting is a set of Magnum 500 pony rims, blue paint with two 351W Hi po side decals inplace of the mustang decals, rear and front spoiler. The 69 is the most underated year for mustang cars and when im finished nobody will forget that.

Default 67 fastback is a nice car, u should go with original engine

The 67 fastback is a nice car. My recomendation if u are going for show or whatever would be go back to the stock engine. 351W was not an option for the 67 stang. I would go back to the roots of what the car was to get a true feeling of what that car meant during its time.

I put the 351 in to replace a tired 302 that was in it when I got it.It came with a 289. I was going to put a stroker in it but I got a good deal on the 351. MY car is in pretty good shape but far from a show car. It does turn heads. My wife has a completly orignal 68 coupe so I can have fun with my car.

I have a 70 Fastback. Final color is going to be Flame Pearl Yellow. Probably gonna go with a 460 warmed up a little and I have a top-loader to go behind it. Going with four wheel discsand eventually a rack and pinion set-up. The interior is going to be completely custom, not a piece of the original left inside. This is going to be my daily driver, so I am doing things to it to make it both more comfortable and functional. I am building the car to take on the Power Tour, so I am putting a LOT of time and effort into it. Only thing I am not doing myself will be the paint.

Default What I drive

I have a 1969 Mustang GT Sportsroof, numbers matching 390 ci engine & 4 spd top loader w/3.25:1 open rear gears. The car has deluxe black interior w/console, original seat/shoulder belts and original rimblow steering wheel(restored). This car has been restored inside, outside & under the hood! Original color was black jade metallic, it is now candy apple red w/new Magnum 500 rims riding on BFG T/A radials. I have one of the original styled steel rims that has been powder coated to the original argent color as a spare w/matching BFG T/A radial.

Mods include:
Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley 750 cfm double pumper w/electric choke and vacuum secondaries, mild Isky cam - just enough to make it breath better, Mallory electronic ignition, Hooker Super Comp long tube headers, Holley fuel pump, Melling high volume oil pump and a windage tray.
Suspension has been completely rebuilt with basically stock components, all new polyurethane bushings, new KYB gas adjust shocks all around, new 620 front coils, new 4 1/2 rear leaf springs, new brakes and brake lines - front and rear, new master cylinder, completely replaced the power steering system, installed a factory air conditioning system with Classic Auto Air components, new Hurst Competition Plus 4 spd shifter w/T-handle.

Rimblow steering wheel restored by The Rimblow Buddy - outstanding craftsmanship!!
