I have a 65' Coupe. Picked it up just under a year ago. 289 with 302 heads, not sure what cam or pistons are in there, the engine was rebuilt before I bought it and I have not dug into it yet. I thew on some headers with 2 1/2 inch exhaust, new valve covers and air filter cover. Changed to an underdrive pulley kit from March, power steering pump included. Also changed out front sway bar to a 1 inch and added a Monte Carlo bar and a one piece export brace with KYB's all around, with new rear springs, what a difference. Next major hurdle...paint.

Sounds pretty nice. Do you have any thoughts on color of paint?

I was thinking a darker blue, Midnight blue. Yeah, I know alot of people have a similiar color but I really like it. Right now there is a lighter metallic blue(that is what I bought the car with), I have got alot of compliments. I painted my engine compartment black, engine Ford blue, with black satin finned aluminum valve covers and air filter cover with the march pulleys to offset it just a bit, and black export brace and monte carlo bar. I want to stay along that theme. If you got any suggestions for a color send them over.

That midnight blue is very pretty. We have a car in our club with a color close to that with metal flake in it and its a beauty.

A 1970 White Mach 1 with 351C-4V. It looks stock but has been retro-moded/updated to have a 5-speed manual tranny from a 1994 Mustang GT and rack and pinion steering.
