Hi all,

I´m from Rimbo, Sweden and that´s in northern Europe.

My ´67 coupe has been in Sweden since it was new. Originally a sixcylinder but it was converted by previous owners to 289, C4, front discs and nine-inch when I bought it in ´00.

I´ve fixed a lot of rust, rebuilt the 289, ported the heads and added EFI, just bought Weld Wheels Draglites and I´m right now working on a power rack & pinion steering conversion. Next project is probably going to be rear four link and coilovers.

Here´s my galleries:

68 Coupe restorodded to look like a Trans Am car of the period. Currently silver with black stripes and black interior but considering changing the outside to burgandy with gold stripes. Engine is an "86" 5.0 HO with Total Seal rings on stock pistons. Pistons are ceramic coated on the top. Heads are GT 40 aluminum with a CNC port job. Cam is E-303. Trans is T5Z with Centerforce clutch. Suspension is modified to Shelby spec's using tubular A-Arms. Wheels are Vintage 48's to promote the "Trans Am" look. The engine was originally set up as a carb'ed unit but I am changing to a Mass Air EFI with a 65mm throttle body. Ignition is all MSD.

1968 Coupe, 86 HO roller currently being converted from carb to a 93 Mass Air efi system. Cam is F303, heads are CNC'ed early heads. I want to upgrade to the GT40 heads. Shortblock is nearly stock but has Total Seal rings. Trans is a 93 T5. Lowered with numerous suspension upgrades. Vintage 48 wheels with low profile rubber. Painted up like a 68 Trans Am car. Currently silver and black stripes but going to metallic maroon with gold stripes. Interior is black with small mods.

I have a 66 Fastback with a 302 and C-4 automatic. So far the major mods I have made are suspension. I have lowered the car 1 inch all around and put in all urethane bushings, bigger sway bar front and rear, under ride traction bars, monte carlo bar, export brace, Shelby quick ratio steering kit and KYB shocks. Also Cobra oval air cleaner and vavle covers. Inside I have installed the 3 inch racing belts and a Shelby steering wheel made by LeCarra. I will soon be putting in a 351W and a 5-speed tranny. Future plans are for four wheel disc and 4.11 gears. I also have already purchased, and I'm waiting to install, all body parts to convert it to a R model clone. Finally, I will be purchasing an A/C kit to make those summer cruises here in the south a little more tolerable for when my girlfriend goes along with me

Hi. I just became a member of this interesting site. I've been a Mustang lover since I was 9 years old. Sorry that was 38 years ago. My father sold my Mustang in April of '64 to a single lady that never drove it in the winter. I bought it from her 7 years later for $800. It had 18??? miles on it at the time. It's a white vinyl over black coupe. White vinyl standard interior. 289 Acode with the generator. 4 speed with the ralley pac and console. I drove it all thru high school but never thru winters here in Wisconsin. The motor was rebuilt about 9 years ago adding more cam and losing some weight in the head area. For the most part it remains stock. I'll try and get some pics up soon. Coming from an all Ford family nothing but Blue runs thru my veins.

I've a '66 Stang with a 302 inside.

Almost "All stock" and in restoration process, i'm in the "detailing process": a few things with suspension and steering (Works but need alignment, replacement of a steering arm and shocks), some exterior emblems, instrument panel (Re-painting), i need the "Original" steering wheel, Right outside mirror, 1 wheel cover, interior console cover (Aluminium between the seats) and i'm planning to install a hidden sound system.

Fellows: ideas are welcome, and if some of you have pics of interior mainly, and exterior of an "all original" '66 coupe i'll appreciate.

One more favor, if someone have pics of "all models" of grilles of 65, 66 or customs pls. send to me, 'cause i've a "custom" one but is broken and i'm about o change it with an original new or a very nice custom one...

Thx.

Best regards from the "Land of TEQUILA".... Guadalajara, Mexico.

Default I guess I'm the addict.....

my "current" stable consists of 12 Mustangs - 3 1965/6 fastbacks and the remainder 9 Mustangs made up of 1969/70 fastbacks and convertibles, two of which are my legit 1970 Boss 302 and my 70 convertible cloned to look EXACTLY like my 70 Boss. My current project is Xtremestang - a 65 C-code fastback that I am finishing to compete in the Silver State Classic in Nevada, wherein they close off 90 miles of a public highway and allow you to run your car to its top end. Most guys do the race in newer cars, but I figured if I was going to attempt it, why not do it with a little class and style.....
