I have a 1970 Grande Mustang.... total stock.... it is very straight and
clean with the exception of a kiss in the back tail light. It purrr's when you fire it up.

Mods to come: first is a new exhaust system....

I am looking for some advise... I was looking to muscle this car out...
I have been running 14. in the 1/4 in a full size truck... and looking to
do better with the Mustang... however when any body sees this car
they tell me to restore not muscle... any advise

I have a 1966 Mustang "High Country Special" Coupe. It is Timberline Green and only 333 HCS's were made. I bought this HCS from the original owner, who moved with the Mustang in 1967 to California and then to Nevada. This car is rust free and unmodified, except for the traction control and mag wheels. The body is very straight, but needs a new paint job. The engine was rebuilt a few years ago. I found this one on Ebay in May, but the auction ended without meeting the reserve. I contacted the owner and made him an offer, which he accepted. I had the Mustang shipped to Iceland in July.

Used to have a '01 GT, had to sell it when my wife was layed off from her job. She is back to work now and I have purchased a basket case '67 coupe. Can't do anything with it yet, got to get the credit cards paid back down first.

Cool my new ride

Just bought a 1969 convertible, all original w/ 65k, 302 -2V, power steering, brakes, and top, ivy-gold. Nothing fancy, just a sweet ride.

Ok, here we go...
65 2+2 Mustang
currently with a lightly modded 70's block 302 matched with a c6 with a Hurst rachet shifter, 9in rear end, subframe connectors, long tube headders, intake, recarro front seats, rear shelby fiberglass seat delete, fiberglass Shelby hood, fiberglass shlby front valence, fiberglass front fenders with flairs, fiberglass rear fender flairs, fiberglass side scoops, fiberglass rear decklid, torq-thrust II's, black with shelby stripes.
What's being done in the next months (winter project):
rebuilt 302, stroked to 347, heads, intake, cam, new steering, new axle's, disk breaks rear to match the fronts, 5 or 6 speed (still under consideration), 4.10 gears, and if Grandfather loans me some dough it'll be topped off with a supercharger. Fresh black paint with fresh silver shelby stripes, oh and the seats match the car black recarro seats with silver center sections. That's all I can think of off hand, I've got pics of the car posted (at least one of them i know for sure) check it out and lemme know what you guys think of how she sits now!
Thanks guys
goat

Wow. Some REAL nice rides here!
Mine has been in the family since new. Grams bought it in 67, and I took possession of it in 86. Grams first one was a 64 1/2 red convert with a bench and 289, but my uncle decided it would look better wrapped around a tree!
She is a dark blue 1967 coupe, 289 2v, turning indicators in the hood, 3 spd auto (c4), flip down gas cap, power drums all around, and an am radio!
She has never been restored, and is absolutely original. Most of the car, including interior and seats are still in perfect condition.
o yea, she has 105,000 miles and grew up in mild Oregon!
BTW, grams was still driving her up untill she was 79 years old!!!
