Mike's '68 Coupe Got this car at the beginning of March. Even though it's costing a ton of money to make truly nice again, so far it's been worth it. It's a great chance for 3 generations to work on it together (me, my father and my son).
So far, we've rebuilt the transmission, put in vintage stereo, new speakers and speaker panel in rear, installed new speaker kickplates with speakers up front, upgraded to Pertronix ignition with 40k volt Ignitor coil, new rear suspension, replaced stock exhaust with Flowmaster 40 series dual exhaust, rewired all taillights/brake lights, and we're almost finished with engine rebuild, complete with Edelbrock intake manifold and aluminum heads/valve covers.
The next job will be to retro-fit the in-dash A/C with a R-134a kit so I can enjoy this ride in the horrible Arizona summers. I'm still really new to this, but thankfully, it looks like there is a ton of knowledge on this site, and so many truly amazing cars to get some ideas from.
