Is one better than the other? Both have the 351 but the 69 is a manuel.
What things should I be looking at when it comes to choosing one.
Are there any problems I should look for?
I am in Sweden and it is a BIG investment as they cost so much over here in Europe so I dont want to do anything stupid so any HELP would be appreciated.

Some people prefer the ’69 since it was the first year and some like the 69’s four-headlight look better versus the 70’s two-headlight look. It’s a personal choice, for every one that says 69’s are better; there will be an equal number of people who like 70’s better. Mechanically speaking, it’s a toss-up. Probably more than 95% of the parts are interchangeable between the two years. Whichever car is in better shape/less expensive/more powerful/ and so on is the one to buy. Check the frame rails, floor pans, and bottom of the doors for rust. When these cars were built 35 years ago, they didn’t expect them to still be on the road today and rust has taken its toll on most. The good news is that if you can afford it, nearly everything you can replace on the vehicle is available through mail order vendors here in the United States.
The 69/70 Mustang fastbacks are my favorite and I consider it a high point in Mustang history since no other years could offer the range of engines. My present 1970 Mach 1 is my third ’70 Mustang I’ve had including my first new car back in 1970.
Good luck on your choice. :thumbsup
